Assistant Distribution Center Manager – Las Vegas Job Apply now Date: Nov 11, 2022 Location: North Las Vegas, NV, US, 89115 Renton, WA, US, 98055 Company: PACCAR Requisition Summary Under the general supervision of the PACCAR Parts PDC Manager, you will have the ability to impact the culture and success of an entire operation, including developing new distribution processes, championing new technologies to drive improvements in safety and ergonomics, productivity and quality. You will lead a team of over 30 Distribution Associates and Warehouse Supervisors, servicing over 100 prime dealers and customers. In addition you will be working with dealers on creative solutions to increase loyalty and grow sales, and developing future leaders within the PACCAR organization.Benefits PACCAR offers comprehensive benefits from time of hire through retirement for vested employees and their families. Understanding and desire to use data and statistical tools to drive operational improvements; strong focus on metrics and culture of accountability.+ Perform within approved Operating and Capital budgets.+ Manage outbound freight logistics to ensure high quality at lowest possible cost.+ Manage assigned staff, including recruiting and selecting employees, providing training and development, evaluating performance, and building a motivated, effective team to ensure that organizational goals for career development, productivity, performance management and employee involvement are met.+ Prepare, direct, and coordinate reports and information.+ Participate in special assignments/projects; available for travel and/or U. S. relocation.+ Develop a positive relationship with the customer (dealers), maintain market knowledge of PDC region dealers, supply base, and competitorQualifications + Bachelor degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Demonstrated abilities in leadership, problem solving, and change management.+ Minimum 5 years of leadership and supervision with PACCAR or other similar business experience.+ Demonstrated abilities in leadership, problem solving, and change management.+ Proven communication and management skills in a fast paced environment.+ Ability to manage technical projects, like radio frequency and voice picking within the distribution environment.+ Distribution, logistics, manufacturing, quality, supply chain or inventory control experience.+ Ability to communicate in Spanish, French or Portuguese is a plus.+ Intermediate to advanced PC skills: MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerPoint.+ Willing to relocate in near future required (continental U.S.)+ Proven group presentation skills; communication skills.+ Six Sigma Trained: Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.Education Required: College or University Bachelor DegreePreferred: MBA or Master’s DegreeCompany Information PACCAR is a Fortune 500 company established in 1905.
