Discover our fun and indulgent bath & beauty brand by becoming part of our Team!Primary Purpose: The Sales Specialist drives sales growth by personally selling deep and across all product categories and delivering emotionally engaging customer experiences – consistent with the brand vision. The Sales Specialist promotes a high-performance selling culture by inspiring, supporting and mentoring peers.Key Responsibilities:• Drives top line store sales and growth by personally selling to customers• Moves with intention throughout the store, connecting with multiple customers• Proactively engages with customers, reads cues and responds effectively• Creates a memorable connection by asking effective questions to identify customer needs and make a compelling product recommendation• Uses confident selling statement and is effective at overcoming customer objections• Displays expert product knowledge and takes initiative to elevate personal and peer knowledge of product categories• Participates in sales goal setting with manager and tracks individual performance towards the goal• Makes it a priority to understand the business and offers suggestions on how the store can be more productive• Creates enthusiasm for selling strategies by inspiring, supporting and mentoring others’ selling behaviors• Assists in training of new associates, serving as a shadow partner• Delivers a friendly and efficient point of sale (POS) experience processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.• Responsible to meet minimum monthly sales targetAll retail employees at Nectar Bath Treats are responsible for:• Driving top line store sales results and growing the business through action and productivity• Creating customer awareness of programs and promotions available to them to build customer loyalty, when applicable• Setting personal goals and tracking individual and team performance to the goals• Preparing for each shift by maintaining awareness of all sales, promotions and applicable POS procedures• Taking initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sell• Understanding and adhering to visual merchandising brand standards• Assisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issues• Keeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss prevention• Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment• Understanding and demonstrating Company values• Leads and or participates in the company’s personal development and philanthropic initiativesSuccess Measures (as applicable):• Sales Goals and Comps• Average Dollar Sales (ADS)• Transactions Per Hour• Loyalty• Shrink• Payroll• Retention of top talent• Employee Opinion Survey ResultsQualifications:• Previous experience leading leaders and associate teams• Proven ability to lead a pay for performance selling team is preferred• Demonstrates ability to improve customer satisfaction and drive loyalty• Proven ability to effectively delegate, follow up and communicate with all levels of the organization• Demonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities with time management and organizational skills• Demonstrates ability to assess talent, coach, develop and manage performance• Demonstrates business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills• Demonstrates excellent visual merchandising skills• Demonstrates strong product knowledge• Schedule flexibility to include nights, weekends and holidaysJob Types: Part-time, TemporaryPay: $13.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:• Employee assistance program• Employee discount• Paid time off• Professional development assistance• Referral programSchedule:• 8 hour shift• Holidays• Monday to Friday• Weekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:• Commission payExperience:• Commission Sales: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
