We are more than a fuel provider; we are Foster Fuels.Foster Fuels, headquartered in Brookneal, VA is seeking an extroverted, full-time Lubricant Oil Sales Representative with commercial/industrial sales experience to cover a territory in Central and Southside Virginia.

Customer and prospect call environments are heavy equipment and truck maintenance shops, quarries, excavating construction job sites, refuse companies, paving companies and similar businesses.Duties and Responsibilities:Act as the lubricant subject matter expert providing technical guidance to the internal Foster Fuels team and customersDrive new and profitable lubricant business through cold calling, networking, internal and external leads, existing customers and other associated methodsThe individual will be responsible for closing new commercial/industrial based businessResponsible for meeting with current Transport Operations customers and prospective customers to solicit business and respond to inquiriesUnderstanding the needs of the business while also being a strong advocate of the customerActive participation in relevant business segment associationsDeveloping, updating, maintaining, and communicating an aggressive growth planManaging relationships with established customers with a new product lineDevelop and propose customer solutions utilizing our product offeringsSalesforce for activity management and growth initiativePrepare information for customer specific requests, including role and scope of job, including margins and overall profitabilityRequired Skills:3 to 5 years commercial sales experience in a Business-to-Business environmentKnowledge of geographic area and locations of potential clients within the regionThe selected candidate must have effective interpersonal skills with the ability to balance business needs with customer/client needs.Solid closing skills and ability to build value added long term relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communications skills for communicating with a diverse customer baseAbility to increase market share and customer retentionAbility to generate a high closing rate through a consultative selling approachMust maintain active target customer accounts and prospect linesMust have proficient skills in Microsoft OfficeStrong customer service and communication skillsGood organizational skills and ability to work independentlySelf-motivated business professional capable of making independent decisions under pressurePreferred Skills:Knowledge of the Lubricant Oil industryTrack record of over-achieving sales quotaBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industryClass B CDL w/ X endorsements or willingness to obtain the licenseOther Requirements:Requires travel throughout the sales region and some occasional overnight travel if required.Requires office hours as neededBenefits:401k matchingHealth InsuranceDental/Vision InsurancePaid Time OffSTD/LTDVoluntary Life InsuranceHoliday PayUniform AllowanceSchedule:Monday to FridayAfter hours and weekend hours required when necessaryAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or other legally protected status.
