Position Summary

The person in this role will develop and execute strategic plans that maximize the efficiencies and profitability of the gaming floor ultimately attracting and retaining customers. This person stays up to date on the latest technologies related to the gaming floor. He/she/they will work across multi-functional teams and business units. Solving complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors is also part of the role.


Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Direct campaigns to achieve casino revenue objectives and guest service goals and standards.
  • Oversee casino marketing, slot marketing, database growth, and sports book player development.
  • Develop and enforces Casino departmental policies and procedures.
  • Hire, motivate, evaluate and direct Casino Operations staff, ensuring that team members receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
  • Review activities on the casino floor to gauge and improve staffing levels, working conditions, and other matters which influence the quality of guest service.
  • Monitor and evaluate all reporting departments in order to ensure the proper planning for short and long-term strategies.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of departmental budgets and approves expenses and purchases.
  • Review strengths and weaknesses of all casino and casino marketing programs in order to most effectively implement changes to improve operations and allocate resources.
  • Strictly adheres to all company policies and procedures at all times. Enforces internal policies as necessary.
  • Maintains a current knowledge of programs, promotions, and all property and company activities.
  • Displays a positive and productive attitude at all times with guests and team members.
  • Dresses in a professional manner at all times in accordance with company and departmental appearance standards.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with M Resort’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Ensures the health, safety, and welfare of all team members and guests within the area of control.
  • Ensures all relevant sections of the Health and Safety Management plan are implemented and understood.
  • Consults with the team on any proposed changes that may affect occupational health and safety at the workplace.
  • Assesses and reviews the effectiveness of the OSHA Management System and ensures appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant agencies’ legislative requirements.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field; 10+ years of progressively responsible and related experience in the gaming industry along with time spent as a leader of table games; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and establish rapport with senior executives.
  • Must possess a strong ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.
  • Excellent skills are required in working across multi-functional teams and supporting business units.
  • Must be able to solve extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors.
  • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Nevada Gaming Commission and Gaming Control Board regulations.
  • Must be experienced with budgeting processes, financial statements, reporting, and basic accounting principles.
  • Gaming registration.
