Machine Helper

This is a Full-time position in Carson City, NV posted December 9, 2022.

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Machinist position.

  • Type: 40hrs/wk. Contract
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Carson City, NV
  • Pay: $28 – $32/hr. (dependent on experience)
  • Length: Six (6) months with the possibility of extension
  • Shift: Mon – Fri, 6a-230p OT as needed

    • Responsibilities for this Machinist position include but are not limited to:

  • Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts by operating mechanical equipment
  • Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units
  • Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product
  • Take measurements of material and selects appropriate machine for the process

    • Qualifications for this Machinist position but are not limited to:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience programming and operating CNC mill and/or lathe using the Haas control or similar Fanuc style control
  • Ability to change and touch off tools
  • Ability to edge find and compute offsets for initial part set up
  • Ability to measure parts, interpret prints, and make appropriate offset changes
  • Competence with Windows and the Microsoft Office family of computer programs
