EMTs perform triage on injured or ill guests and employees and assess whether outside medical response is necessary. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.Essential Functions:Performs on the scene medical response and assesses patient’s condition to determine a proper course of treatmentProvides basic life support including airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and use of the automatic defibrillator when necessaryReports verbally and in writing medical care and observations of the patient at the emergency scene and in transitAssist in the transportation of the injured to additional response unitsRestocks and replaces used supplies, cleans all equipment following appropriate disinfecting proceduresMaintains patient confidentiality according to state and federal lawsOther duties and tasks as assigned by managerQualificationsEMT certification requiredCPR/AED certification requiredPrevious EMT experience preferredMust be able to use judgement and make decisions in a high stress, fast paced environmentDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsRequires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 125 lbs; 250 lbs with assistanceRequires occasional bending, stooping, crouching or crawlingRequires frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairsPDN-6877_302802
