Electrical Test Engineer – (PCB)

This is a Contract position in Las Vegas, NV posted December 11, 2022.

Actia Electronics, an electronics manufacturing Supply Chain Solutions Company, is a successful and growing organization that is expanding at a very fast pace both domestically and internationally.

We are a key link in supply chains worldwide, with a broad and diverse range of services from simple printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies to product engineering, testing and development.

We are currently looking for an electrical Printed Circuit Board Test Engineer to join our team in our Romulus, Michigan office.

The PCB Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing test procedures for electronic circuit board production.

The qualified individual will be responsible for maintaining the tester hardware and software.

Additional responsibilities include: Supporting the manufacturing process with failure analysis and tester debugging.

Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through initial production.

Direct and coordinate engineering activities involved in development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, record and reduce test data.

Analyze and interpret test data and prepare technical reports for use by test engineering and management personnel.

Develop and/or use computer software and hardware to conduct test on machinery and equipment.

Perform functions which involve conventional engineering practices that may include a variety of complex duties from ICT, FVT, ESS, UFT/EOL to system level testing.

Requirements: Knowledge of Manufacturing Test Strategy as it pertains to printed circuit board assemblies.

Understanding of relevant industry standards and specifications.

Ability to troubleshoot component level PCB.

Experience with C++, Java, Studio Code, Python or Visual Studio Code Results oriented individual with strong problem solving and analysis skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface well with other internal departments.
