Job SummaryAllied Valve’s Data Entry Clerk will enter data and perform various routine clerical duties to support the organization.

Core Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms.Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, computers, and other standard office equipment.Serves as the receptionist for the office, greeting visitors and customers.Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages.Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate department or individual; processes outgoing mail.Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.Manages calendars and schedules appointments.Transpose information from a handwritten traveler into the ValvKeep database.Accurately input information from notes into the ValvKeep database.Ability to distinguish different types of reports.Filter information in the ValvKeep Database to pull reports.Import and export data to and from Excel.Import pictures and testing documents into ValvKeep.Field customer inquiries and help them navigate the online version of ValvKeep.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.Qualifications & RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role.Excellent and precise data entry and typing skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.physical demandsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
