This has allowed our 45-year SoCal based structural engineering firm to enjoy unparalleled success with staff retention.What is your Purpose?MHP’s Due Diligence Project Engineers support a diverse clientele including buyers, sellers, insurers, and lenders of commercial real estate projects across the Western United States.

As the Due Diligence Project Engineer, you will identify and analyze structural and seismic design and construction issues that will help mitigate risk in the Client’s purchase, management, and disposition of commercial real estate assets.

Work responsibilities include travel, working with internal team members to produce accurate results, coordination and writing of reports, and direct consultation with clients to resolve and clarify concerns.What will you impact & Success Factors:Working with the Due Diligence and Design teams on exciting projects in the commercial, multifamily, education and healthcare sectors, the Project Engineer will be engaged in a collaborative work style.

They will also take initiative to help all team members achieve the highest standards of responsive customer service for clients and other project partners.

MHP’s Due Diligence Project Engineers benefit from direct collaboration with a highly experienced staff of structural engineers that maintain currency in code development and cutting edge analytical techniques.Experience & Requirements:5 years minimum experience with a California PE or an SE licenseGood written & verbal communication skillsSolid understanding of all building construction and lateral system types Familiarization with ASCE 41.
