Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the worlds leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Cash Applications Assistant to support the Cash Applications Department by processing and applying client payments, conducting research, and providing a high level of client service, utilizing the departments automated systems and processes.Reporting to the Cash Applications Supervisor, the Cash Applications Assistant will serve as a resource for billing assistants, attorneys, clients and the accounts payable and cash applications department to research and resolve many different diverse payments and/or reports.This position can reside in most US offices and offers a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Regular working hours are 8:30 am
– 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.Key responsibilities include:Research and resolve payment issues that cannot be automatically posted into the System (85% of workload and communicate with vendors and attorneys to determine where cash should be paid.Communicate with billing assistants, attorneys and secretaries about fees or costs that should be written off and utilize Wow Flow (an automated write-off system) to process fees and costs out of the Billing SystemRun and provide GL detail reports pertaining to Fees and Costs processed for each day to Treasury and Report and record payments over $250,000 and $1,000,000 for auditing purposesResearch, resolve and return overpayments, duplicate payments, retainers and other funds belonging to clientsExperience and qualifications:A high school diploma preferred and minimum of three (3) years professional experience in cash applications or Elite Billing.Proficient in Elite Financial Systems, Automated Expense/Invoice Reporting System highly preferred.Qualified candidates must apply online by visiting our website at www.morganlewis.com and selecting “Careers.”LI-HybridCOVID-19: Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP requires its personnel to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
