**Description**A/R Collections Specialist will assist in the maintenance of the A/R and Collections process for the branch.

We seek to recruit and retain the right people who are passionate about our business and we provide opportunities for our employees so that they may progress within our company based on their talents, experiences, and their aptitude.**_Responsibilities:_**+ Ensure A/R and Collections issues are identified, tracked, reconciled, reported on and resolved in a timely manner+ Reconcile outstanding A/R balances and resolve discrepancies with assigned customers+ Monitor A/R balances by customer to address and resolve payment issues due to invoice discrepancies/transmission failure in a timely manner+ Perform accounting and clerical functions to support the Accounts Receivable Department through contacting customers to collect on past due balances and providing them statements and copies of invoices+ Assist in collecting invalid deductions+ Support the analyst department in resolving outstanding issues with the customers+ Develop a relationship with the customers to help resolve issues in a timely manner+ Assist the analyst department in processing Incident reports+ Contribute to Accounting team environment in which cross functions are assumed as necessary in order to meet department deadlines and objectives**_Requirements:_**+ High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred+ Minimum of 1-year accounting, accounts receivable or collections experience+ Knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes a plus+ Analytical skills to support solving complex transaction processing issues; must have the ability to spot issues quickly and be able to resolve in a timely manner+ Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as a team+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ Ability to multi-task projects, establish priorities, work independently and organize effectively+ Must be detail orientated and be able to work under pressure+ Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel**So, what are you waiting for?
