Job Summary: We are currently looking to add to our team with an exciting opportunity as a Human Resources Payroll Onboarding Associate.

This position is part of our dynamic Human Resources onboarding team to ensure efficient, timely and compliant payroll service deliverables to our newly acquired Acrisure Partners.

This role will have a solution-oriented mindset and an ability to drive the creation of new ways of working, while understanding best practices and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities: Provides concierge service in daily communication between Payroll Operations, Finance, HR Team Members, Acrisure Partners, other vendor and employees.

Uses judgement to escalate matters when necessary Remains informed of multi-state tax (federal, state, local) requirements including tax adjustments and balancing issues, as well as other payroll regulations.

Possesses the ability to interpret and apply best practice to meet unique business needs Manages new agency payroll implementations to ensure accuracy and compliance Administers payroll tasks and activities to meet the unique needs of each Acrisure Partner including but not limited to Recording status of all assigned tasks in a centralized tracker to ensure onboarding status is visible to all crucial parties Attend new partner discovery calls and document notes to support the next steps of integration Payroll data entry, data imports, computing and balancing payroll, auditing and posting, generating accounting data, distribution, reconciliations and reporting Process and input employee changes such as deduction revisions, scheduled payments, benefit enrollments, form W-4 and banking information Process and input other earnings required for payroll such as bonuses, commissions, vacation payouts, fringe benefit imputed income, etc.

Wage Attachments administration, coordinating with vendors and agencies as appropriate Off-cycle check processing, voids and transaction follow-up Audit of all inputs and results, utilizing preview and post payroll reports, performing error corrections as needed Execute and utilize payroll reports as needed Practices proper maintenance of payroll records Reports payroll and tax issues and recommends system or process changes to improve go forward support of onboarding business needs Review and interpret transactional data to resolve issues and propose process improvements with demonstrated sensitivity and respect at all times.

Assists with projects and supports priorities and initiatives within the onboarding Human Resources Team.

Provides exemplary customer service in all encounters.

Assists with training or knowledge transfer activities as needed.

Requirements: Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite, MS 365 Teams and HRIS technology Experience with PrismHR, Workday, and cloud HRIS platforms preferred Must be organized and detail-oriented Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively with others to create and foster a positive, team-oriented environment Must have a high level or problem-solving capability Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills Must exhibit attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field
– or recognized equivalent in education and experience, required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience managing, processing and/or consulting on payrolls, required.

Multi-state payroll experience, preferred Call center experience preferred.

FPC, CPP, PHR or other HR/Benefit certification, preferred.
