Medical Assistant – Full Time

We have a full time opening for a Medical Assistant; this is an ideal opportunity for a MA interested in working with an outstanding team in the beautiful, family friendly community of the Carson Valley.

Position Summary for a Medical Assistant: Provide comfortable, safe and professional care for the clinic patient, infant through geriatric. Maintain an efficient flow of patients for the clinician. Working knowledge of all equipment and all required QA checks. Stocks supplies and orders appropriately. Schedules patients for testing procedures and ensures all test results and reports are scanned in the patient chart prior to the appointment.

POSITION REQUIREMENT

Minimum Education 

• High School diploma or equivalent required 
• Must hold current certification as a Medical Assistant by AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT “ 
• Current BLS Certification

Minimum Work Experience

• Reading, writing, excellent spelling, organizing, and filing skills.

• Patient centered care.

• Professional phone etiquette, Bi-Lingual preferred.

• Customer service skills.

• Computer and word processing skills,

• Previous experience in a clinic setting preferred.
