Rackspace is currently looking for an outstanding Microsoft 365 Architect with an emphasis on Intune and Defender for Endpoint experience to join our world-class Office 365 team full time onsite or Remote Work from Home for exceptional candidates.

As an Office 365 Architect for our Office 365 team, you will help mid-size and large customers to better plan, migrate, set up, administer and consume Office 365 across their enterprise.

An Office 365 Architect will understand the customer’s business and technical needs by working as an extension of the customer’s IT team.

As an Office 365 Architect you will gain an in-depth knowledge of their business and be able to recommend solutions that best fit their needs utilizing cutting edge technology. Operates under general supervision.

Receives little to no instruction on day-to-day work. Determines methods and procedures for new assignments. Mentors junior staff. Oversees the technical execution of project based work.

You Will

  • Design and implement Intune deployments and Defender for Endpoint policies
  • Build strong client relationships through expert level knowledge of the O365 platform as well as outstanding customer interaction and consulting
  • Responsible for implementation of the complex architectural design of hardware, software and/or networking systems to support O365
  • Conducts business analysis with customers to determine system needs
  • Keeps informed of new technology. Follow and execute Rackspace change management. Contribute and organize a central store of knowledge
  • Participates in systems/code reviews and design sessions
  • Facilitates Root Cause Analysis sessions
  • Delivers brown bags/tech talks to internal groups Take full ownership of product life cycle

You Have

  • 8 years technical consulting experience
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and overall O365 Security
  • Advance to expert knowledge of Windows, PowerShell Scripting. Able to resolve problems promptly
  • Understands automation principles and design
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt to Microsoft’s everchanging O365 offerings and technologies
  • Overall understanding of O365 products and how they work together in the cloud

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred

Certifications

  • MCSE preferred

Job Description

  • Responsible for planning and implementation Intune deployments and Defender for Endpoint policies including BitLocker, Antivirus, Firewall, Endpoint Detection and Response and Attack Surface Reduction policies
  • Knowledge of Advanced Hunting Queries/Kusto Query Language is a plus
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Device Identity scenarios and best practices
  • Responsible for designing and implementing Windows AutoPilot, Windows Hello for Business
  • Responsible for designing and implementing MDM and MAM for Windows OS, MacOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Android, including corporate-owned Apple and Android Devices
  • Design and implement Microsoft Information Protection Labels, Label Policies, Auto-labeling policies and discuss limitations with customers
  • Design and implement Data Loss Prevention Policies, both native to the Microsoft 365 platform and in Defender for Cloud Apps
  • Responsible for planning and designing Information Governance policies
  • Apply effective prioritization, organization, written and verbal communication, while working alongside the project management team to ensure the most efficient and accurate deployment possible within scope and budget
  • Lead technical projects for the deployment of O365 technologies
  • Build strong client relationships through expert level knowledge of the O365 platform as well as outstanding customer interaction and consulting
  • Responsible for implementation of the complex architectural design of hardware, software and/or networking systems to support O365
  • Conducts business analysis with customers to determine system needs
  • Keeps informed of new technology. Follow and execute Rackspace change management. Contribute and organize a central store of knowledge
  • Participates in systems/code reviews and design sessions
  • Facilitates Root Cause Analysis sessions
  • Analyzes systems and determines business requirements
  • Ensures completeness and compatibility of the technical infrastructure to support system performance
  • Represents team in interdepartmental meetings
