Machine Operator – South Carolina

This is a Contract position in Las Vegas, NV posted October 14, 2022.

Job OverviewThe Machine Operator will mainly work with heavy machinery.

This position requires a strong understanding of the machines, must be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.

This role ensures the interminable and efficient running of a smooth and efficient production workflow.

In a fast-paced environment like production, this position is an integral part of the manufacturing process.

Being a team player is essential since all tasks require close collaboration with co-workers.The goal is to ensure production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSets up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start and maintain production cycle efficiently; ensures output of machines meet high-quality standardsControl and adjust machine settings (e.g.

speed) as needed Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws; solve problems as detectedMaintain records of approved and defective units or final products; maintains activity logsAdheres to strict health and safety guidelines as well as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Company policiesPerforms other related duties as necessary or assignedSupervisory Responsibilities No supervisory responsibilities Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to follow instructions from Team Lead Understanding of industry standards and regulations in order to safely and efficiently operate high-speed machinery and tools properlyAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g.

constant use of PPE gear)Ability to analyze situations and find solutions; strong attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work and communicate well with othersPhysical stamina and strengthSelf-motivated with a results-driven approachMinimum QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
