• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, high-speed environment
• Working knowledge of standardized work flows, and ability to adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to customer specifications
• Conduct quality checks periodically
• Provide direction to the Quality Control / part pickers, as needed to meet production requirements
• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
• Complete daily housekeeping, safe work observations, and pre-job assessments
• Proficient and safe operation of Material Handling Equipment (Forklift, etc.)
Job Requirements:
• Personal commitment to safety for self and others
• Willingness to understand and follow all safety protocols, in addition to actively participating in our safety culture
• Manufacturing experience, including working history of hands on production
• Proficient capability with data processing and programming of the machinery / equipment
• Self-starter, with ability to consistently achieve deadlines
• Effective written & verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate with peers, supervisor, and other managers
• Ability to provide creative solutions, and motivate others to succeed
• Proven capability to multi-task effectively
• Material Handling Equipment Certification, preferred
• Keen attention to detail
• Preferred candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years working in an industrial environment
• Candidates must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift, plus overtime as needed
